Zealous is a project that explores the uniqueness of the typographical world through characteristics of each letter within different typefaces. These abstract letterforms gave me insight on how typefaces are more than used for body text– they carry their own artistic presence within their canvas.
Merengue Script Regular’s “z” stood out to me as elegant yet fierceful with its sharp points and smooth curves. The vividness of the red creates a strong contrast against the black background to encompass zealous’s definition of holding great passion.
